What is gamma exposure (GEX)?

Gamma exposure (GEX) measures how much options dealers need to buy or sell in the underlying stock or index to stay hedged as its price moves, based on the gamma of their aggregate options positions. Large positive or negative GEX levels tend to act like magnets or repellents for price — dealer hedging flows can dampen moves (positive gamma) or accelerate them (negative gamma). "Wall" levels are strikes with unusually concentrated gamma, where that hedging pressure is strongest.

What exactly does GammaWalls cover?

How often is the data updated?

Isn't gamma exposure just a public formula? What's actually proprietary here?

GEX itself is public options-market math — the same inputs every gamma-exposure tool uses, ours included. That's true of every tool in this category, not a gap unique to GammaWalls. What isn't public is the tuning: the specific thresholds that separate a Fragile wall from a Dominant one, and the logic that resolves several signals — regime, wall strength, flip proximity, wall migration, session phase — into one directional read instead of a wall of numbers.
